WHAT WE ARE

The Newberry Springs Chamber Of Commerce is a voluntary organization composed of members of the business community working for the overall betterment of Newbeny Springs and surrounding area. We operate as an independent (not affiliated with government or any other agency), non-profit organization. The Chamber enables business and professional people to accomplish collectively what no one could or would do individually.


OUR OBJECT

· Creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of the businessman/woman, and a concern for his/her problem.

· A more intelligent business opinion regarding business involvement in county and state affairs.

· A business climate which will prevent controver sies which are detrimental to expansion and growth of business or adjusts them if they arise.

· A greater appreciation of the value of a more liberal investment of substance and self on behalf of the interest of competitive business.

· An atmosphere which will promote and foster the maximum freedom for individuals and for business firms consistent with ability for each to lulfill its responsibilities for the corumon good.



OUR GOALS

Promoting the growth, beautification and development for industrial, retail, service, tourism and professional busi ness by:


· Promoting programs of an economic nature de signed to strengthen and expand the income of all classifications of business in Newberry Springs.

· Promoting programs of a civic nature which are designed to increase the flinctional capacity of the Newberry Springs area.

· Promoting programs of social, beautification and cultural nature which are designed to retain the aesthetic value of the Newberry Springs area.

· Discovering and correcting abuses which prevent the promotion and business expansion, and the orderly growth and development of Newberry Springs.
